Taper Roller Bearings

Taper roller bearings have tapered inner and outer ring raceways between which tapered rollers are arranged. The projection lines of all the tapered surfaces meet at a common point on the bearing axis. Their design makes taper roller bearings particularly suitable for the accommodation of combined (radial and axial) loads.

SPHERICAL ROLLER BEARINGS

 Spherical roller bearings are double row, self-retaining units comprising solid outer rings with a concave raceway, solid inner rings and barrel rollers with cage. The inner rings have cylindrical or tapered bores. The Symmetrical barrel roller orient themselves freely on the concave outer ring raceway. As a result, shaft flexing and misalignment of the bearings seats are compensated. Spherical roller bearings can support axial forces in both directions and high radial forces, they are designed for very high load carrying capacity and since they have the maximum possible number of large and particularly long barrel rollers are also suitable for the heaviest loads. Due to the narrow osculation between the rollers and raceways, uniform stress distribution is achieved in the bearings.

LINEAR GUIDE BEARING

Linear ball bearing and guideway assemblies represent the most extensive and complex group within the range of monorail guidance systems. They are used where linear guidance systems with high load-carrying capacity and rigidity must move heavy loads with high running and positional accuracy as well as low friction. The guidance systems are preloaded and are suitable for long, unlimited stroke lengths.

Depending on the operating conditions, acceleration values up to 150 m/s2 and speeds up to 360 m/minute are possible. A guidance system comprises at least one carriage with rolling elements, a guideway and one or two-piece plastic or brass closing plugs.

ZINC ALLOY BEARING 

This 10mm Inner Diameter Zinc Alloy Pillow Block Flange Bearing FL000 is a quality flanged ball bearing end mount, widely used in CNC and 3D printing applications. Made from a zinc-aluminum alloy, it houses a 608 bearing, which supports linear shafts, leadscrews or ball screws. Secured using two grub screws, this bearing mount is a convenient option for your project or CNC machine.

The insert bearings are the deep groove ball bearings with wide inner rings. Pillow Block Flange Bearing is widely used in various of machinery, such as machinery and equipment, conveyors, machine manufacturing etc.

Great alignment support for the screw as it turns to keep your print head or cutter in perfect alignment while stepping. What makes these special is you can lock the T8 screw in place while the bearing lets it the spin. They can align with ease during operation and can be conveniently mounted or dismounted.

Bearing unit supplied with a fully sealed bearing insert fitted in the oval cast aluminum housing. The bearing insert which self-aligns in the housing has 2 grub screws to allow tightening of the shaft once fitted. Pillow Block Bearings

A pillow block bearing consists of a mounting bracket (pillow block) that houses a bearing and is used in low-torque, light load applications.

With this configuration, the pillow block is bolted to a foundation, securing it, while the shaft and the inner ring of the bearing are free to rotate. Usually made of gray cast iron, pillow blocks come in two types, split or unsplit. With split pillow blocks the housing element or cap can be separated from the base. An unsplit pillow block is made from one solid piece.

AMH Drawn cup needle roller bearings consist of a drawn cup thin-walled, cold-formed outer ring, a group of needle rollers and cage assembly which together form a bearing unit. The low cross section provides maximum load-carrying capability with a minimum of space required and can be easily installed with a press fit in the housing and normally require no further axial fixing. Comparing with end open type bearings, the end closed type bearings have lip seals which, under normal operating conditions, protect the bearing from contamination and prevent grease leakage.

They have either a female thread in the body or a male thread on the body, and they can be easily assembled onto machines. ype CSK is a sprag type free wheel integrated in to a 62 series Ball Bearing, (except sizes 8 and 40) it is bearing supported, delivered grease lubricated and protected against dust of more than 0.3 mm the use of additional “nylos” type seals is recommended especially when the working temperature exceeds 50o C. Oil bath lubrication is also possible. All the CSK versions are equipped with “form chromed” sprags. This process increases several times the over running life time.

 Drawn cup needle roller clutches have a very small radial section height and makes optimum use of the available space allowing compact designs to be achieved. These clutches are suitable for transmitting high torque and are normally used for indexing, back-stopping and as overrunning clutches. HF and RC series are composed of thin-walled drawn outer ring with a series of ramps on its inside diameter and steel springs in the plastic cage. Needle rollers, which are retained and guided by a plastic cage, form the clamping elements. HFL and RCB series has two integral radial bearings arranged on both sides of needle roller clutch and can therefore support radial forces in particularly space-saving bearing arrangements.

Flat needle roller cages consists of FF and FF..ZW series which are plastic, with dovetail notches on the ends which enable any number of components to be fixed end to end. The needle rollers are grouped in a diameter tolerance of 0 to -2 microns, and are individually guided and retained. KHS flat cages prevent “slip-stick” and ensure smooth trouble-free running for all types of flat guideways. FF series are single row flat cage and FF..ZW are double row flat cage. The double row is connected by a flexible web which permits the two rows of needle rollers to be bent to any required angle relative to one another so that the whole can be used as an inverted vee-cage.

Precision Angular Contact Bearings

Angular contact ball bearings have inner and outer ring raceways that are displaced relative to each other in the direction of the bearing axis. This means that these bearings are designed to accommodate combined loads, i.e. simultaneously acting radial and axial loads. The axial load carrying capacity of angular contact ball bearings increases as the contact angle increases.

Due to their internal design, angular contact ball bearings can withstand high radial-axial loads and reach high speeds. They are asymmetrical for manufacturing reasons and can withstand unidirectional axial loads only.

Self-Aligning Ball Bearings

In a self-aligning bearing, the inner ring has two raceways and the outer ring has a single spherical raceway with its center of curvature coincident with the bearing axis. This allows the axis of the inner ring, balls and cage to deflect around the bearing center to automatically correct misalignment caused by housing and shaft machining or installation error. Self-aligning ball bearings generate less friction than any other type of rolling bearing, which enables them to run cooler even at high speeds.

Thrust ball bearings, composed of bearing balls supported in a ring, can be used in low thrust applications. They are designed to accommodate axial load only and must not be subjected to any radial load.

KHS INNOVATION & ENGINEERING LLP, TPS Dual Guides, adopting high carbon chromium bearing steel to the friction part, guarantees long term life span because it obtains over 58 HRC (Hardness of Rockwell) by high-frequency heat treatment, and precision grinding and hardened chromed which not only has pleasing appearance but provides excellent anti-rust properties. The Running precision is less than ±0.02 with the adoption of double row bearings.
